The match against Hugo Gaston was even more exiting than the first one. Gijs won the first set with 6-1 but then Gaston revived and won the 2nd set with 3-6. In the final set the tiebreak had to be played with the win for Gijs. 

Wat an incredible exiting and difficult first match against Mathias Bourgue. Gijs also played against Bourgue in St. Tropez, but this time it was a very hard opponent for Gijs.
