And in another 3-set match a win in the second round against Clement Chidekh with 7-5 3-6 6-3, which brings him in the quarter final of the tournament.

Difficult first match at the Rennes Challenger-90 against German qualifier Max Hans Rehberg. Gijs did finally win 6-7 6-4 6-4. Great play from both sides and very haopy with the win.

Gijs pulls off another stunt by beating #129 Liam Broady with 6-2 6-4 in a super exiting match, which brings him into the semi-finals of the tournament.

What a fantastic match against Christopher O'Connell (number 110 on the ATP ranking). Gijs played really good against an opponent who made very few mistakes. Quarterfinals was also won bij Gijs and his partner, but unfortunately no video is available. However, They also won the semifinal in a great match  with 4-6 7-5 10-7 

Nice first round win also in the doubles with Aidan McHugh. 

First round challenger against Gage Brymer. A college player with a lot of experience on hardcourt. The first set was difficult and Gijs won by showing good character. In the second set Gijs was obviously the better player by winning 6-1.

Nice win over Juan Carlos Aguilar with 6-2 6-3 in the first round of the challenger in Winnipeg, Canada.
